Brilliant Achievement! Swimmers from An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Pa'bumbungang Bantaeng Clinch Success at the Bantaeng Regency O2SN
An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School – A high spirit of sportsmanship and competition filled the air at the National Student Sports Olympiad (O2SN) at the Bantaeng Regency level, held on June 17, 2026, at the Yuhyi Swimming Pool, Bantaeng Regency. In the swimming branch, two young athletes delivered outstanding performances and brought home proud achievements.

The competition, which serves as a platform for students to showcase their talents, bore witness to the resilience of the talented swimmers from SMP IT An-Nawawi. Muh. Fahri Haryanto successfully secured his spot as the best by winning 1 Gold Medal in the Freestyle event. The speed and technique he demonstrated in the pool successfully propelled him to the highest podium.

Equally impressive, Alifa Aura Syifana also recorded a stellar achievement by sweeping two titles at once, capturing 2 Bronze Medals in both the Freestyle and Breaststroke events. Alifa's consistency and dedication to mastering two different swimming strokes deserve the highest appreciation.

The success of these athletes is inseparable from the unwavering support of the students' parents, the physical education teacher, the swimming coach, and the O2SN coordinator.

All members of the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Pa’Bumbungang Bantaeng community hope this milestone serves as a motivation for other students in Bantaeng Regency to continuously develop their interests and talents in sports. This achievement also serves as concrete proof that the nurturing of young athletes in the region is progressing exceptionally well.

The Chairman of the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Dr. Abudzar Al Qifari, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., alongside the Principal of SMP IT An-Nawawi IBS, Mutiah Sumarno, S.Si, M.Pd., expressed their deep gratitude and pride for this accomplishment.
