An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School – The spirit of togetherness and care for public facilities was once again demonstrated by local residents and the big family of An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School in Pa’Bumbungang, Bantaeng. Concrete action in the form of a community voluntary work (kerja bakti) to repair the road connecting Sarrea Hamlet to the boarding school area has now officially entered its second phase.
This initiative is the fruit of close collaboration between local community leaders, teachers (ustadz), students (santri), and their parents. The road repair is being carried out as a collective effort to provide a safer, more comfortable, and proper access route for the students and the community who pass through every day.
The smooth progress of this road repair process is inseparable from the donation support collected from various parties. To date, the enthusiasm of the residents and the students' parents has been extraordinary. The total contribution accumulated from both phase one and phase two of the road repair stands at Rp3,150,000.00.
In light of the collected donations, the Chairman of the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Pa’Bumbungang Foundation, Dr. Abudzar Al Qifari, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., expressed his highest appreciation to all parties who have contributed their time, energy, and financial support for the smooth running of this project. The presence of a better access road is expected to support educational activities at An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School more optimally, while allowing the Pa’Bumbungang community to experience convenience in their travels.
This mutual cooperation proves that with the spirit of brotherhood, obstacles to reaching a center of knowledge can be overcome together. May the good intentions of the donors and the hard work of the volunteers be recorded as a form of Amal Jariyah (perpetual charity) that brings blessings to the advancement of religious education in Bantaeng.
