An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School – The National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS) of Bantaeng Regency has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting worship facilities in the region. On this occasion, BAZNAS distributed a grant of Rp 2,500,000 dedicated to the continued construction of the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Mosque.
The aid was presented symbolically by a representative of the BAZNAS Bantaeng board to the mosque construction management, specifically the Chairman of the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Foundation. This assistance is expected to accelerate the renovation or physical construction process so that the mosque can soon be utilized optimally by the students.
BAZNAS stated that this contribution is part of their program for the welfare of the Ummah, particularly in the religious sector. Given that the mosque is located within an Islamic Boarding School environment, its presence is crucial as a center of worship and a character-building laboratory for the young generation of Islam.
"We hope that this contribution, though the amount may seem modest, can serve as a stimulus for other philanthropists to contribute to the construction of this House of Allah," said one of the board representatives during the handover.
The management of the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Mosque expressed their deepest appreciation and gratitude for the attention shown by BAZNAS Bantaeng. The funds will be immediately allocated toward urgent construction material needs.
The construction of this mosque relies heavily on the spirit of mutual cooperation and donations from various parties. Through collaboration between official institutions like BAZNAS and the general public, it is hoped that the vision of having a grand and comfortable mosque within the Islamic Boarding School environment will soon be realized.
